I was given the objective to utilize current patents in order to create an exhibit that had impact on the main wall of the corporate lobby.
One challenge was that the patents were originally ordered in large sizes, however due to limiting wall space in the original building layout, smaller sized patents were being ordered. With the two size options, I laid out the patents on the floor and came up with a design pattern that presented symmetry while allowing for expansion.
In addition, I developed and produced the art for the centered Midtronics logo to fit within the developed pattern.
I Art Directed and coordinated the installation with a Midtronics staff Mechanical Engineer and 20/20 Exhibits, Chicago.
